BALLET WEST COMES TO PARK CITY

Ballet West returns to Park City for one thrilling night with three contemporary works curated for a casual mountain vibe. Opening with The Thing With Feathers, a recent world premiere collaboration with Sundance’s Music Film Program, who created an “acoustic landscape for choreographer Emily Adam’s fantastical world,” said the Utah Arts Review. In vibrant red and gold costumes, eight dancers shine in Matthew Neenan’s The Solo Year, a work that highlights artist’s expressive skills and technical prowess. The program closes with Nicolo Fonte’s Piece of My Heart, a high-energy creation set to the music of Janis Joplin that has become an instant favorite in Ballet West’s repertoire.
